The registration of vessels under the Panamanian flag can be carried out by any person or company regardless of their nationality or origin. This registration process is simple and fast, taking only one day to complete.
Advantages of Ship Registration in Panama:
- After October 26 1988 flag fees were considerably reduced for pleasure boats and yachts establishing a registration fee of $1,500 for owners of foreign vessels and a reduced fee of $1,000 for companies or individuals registered in Panama. All income from international commercial activities is tax exempt.
